Where and when are the wedding events taking place?

All wedding events will take place at The Hotel Emma (136 E Grayson St, San Antonio, TX 78215) in the historic Pearl District on Saturday, October 31, 2026. The Ceremony starts at 4:30 PM, followed immediately by Cocktail Hour at 5:00 PM and the Reception at 6:00 PM.

Are children welcome?

While we love them dearly, this will be an adult-only, kid-free celebration.

What time should we arrive for the ceremony?

Please arrive between 4:00-4:15 PM so everyone can find their seats comfortably before the 4:30 PM ceremony begins.

Is this an outdoor or indoor wedding?

The Ceremony and Cocktail Hour will take place in the semi-outdoor courtyard & terrace, followed by dinner, speeches, and dancing inside the Elephant Cellar Ballroom.

What is the dress code?

We kindly ask our guests to join us in formal, dark attire as we celebrate our wedding. Think elegant evening wear-tuxedos or dark suits for gentlemen and floor-length gowns or formal cocktail dresses for ladies. And no, you can't wear costumes! (lol)

Can I bring a plus one?

Plus ones are indicated on your invitation by how it is addressed to you and your guest. If you have any questions regarding your invitation, don't hesitate to reach out!

How do I communicate allergies or dietary restrictions?

We want to ensure everyone has a wonderful meal. Please list any dietary requirements or food allergies when submitting your RSVP.

Will there be an open bar?

What date do I need to RSVP by? Can I make changes if needed?

We ask all guests to please RSVP by October 18th, 2026. Should you need to make any changes to your RSVP after this date, please reply to your confirmation email or reach out to us directly at hello@emilynchristian.com.

Can we take photos during the ceremony?

We ask for an unplugged ceremony—please silence all phones and put away cameras so we can all share the moment together. Our professional photographer will capture everything!

Is it okay to take and share photos during the reception?

Absolutely! We would love for you to capture memories and share photos during the Cocktail Hour and Reception.

Do you have a registry?

Your presence is the greatest gift! If you wish to honor us with a gift, you can view our registry and contribute to our Japan Honeymoon Fund on our Registry page.

Parking is conveniently located near the hotel at Koehler Garage and adjacent parking lots. For staying guests, Valet Parking is available as well. Inquire with hotel about complimentary parking validation.
