Our Story
We met on Hinge, and what was supposed to be just a few hours of getting to know each other turned into an unforgettable, seemingly never-ending first date.
Christian: Well, if I hadn't triple messaged her, I doubt I'd still be writing this story today. Even though she made the first move on Hinge, I simply couldn't get her to reply.
Emily: It's true, I was really bad at texting back in general. I just remember driving home from work and thinking: "Man, I never responded to that guy!" and still did nothing about it.
Christian: Once she finally did respond, we immediately hit it off and knew we had to see if the spark was there in person, too.
Emily: We started talking on Thursday.
By Saturday morning, I asked him:
"What if we met up today?"
Christian: I should've known then that Emily would be the most confrontational person I'd ever meet in my life. I fell in love that night.
Emily: It's like Stevie Nicks said: "Lightning strikes, maybe once, maybe twice."
Four years later and we're still buzzing from the magic of that first date. So much so, we've decided to spend forever together.
